Abstract
Background: Accidents at work can happen to anyone, including workers, management, companies at work,
which can cause many losses, both directly and indirectly. Today's workshops are encouraged to have different
thinking and operating concepts.
Objective: Analyzing unsafe actions and work periods on work accidents among Motorcycle Workshop
workers in Kotamobagu.
Method: This research used quantitative observational research with a cross sectional research design
conducted on motorbike repair shop workers consisting of 69 workers. The sampling technique in this research
used total sampling. Data analysis used the chi-square test.
Results: The results of the analysis show that unsafe actions (ρ-value = 0.001) and work experience (ρ-value=
0.003) are related to work accidents.
Conclusion: There is a relationship between unsafe actions and work period with work accidents among
motorbike repair shop workers in Kotamobagu. It is hoped that workers in motorbike workshops will always
use personal protective equipment when working and provide signs in risky places in the workplace.
