Abstract
Background: Corona virus or severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a virus that can attack the respiratory system in humans. The disease caused by infection with this virus is called COVID-19. Corona virus Disease 2019 to date is one of the health problems in the world that tends to increase and spread widely.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify adolescent knowledge about covid-19, identify adolescent compliance in applying 5M, and analyze the relationship between adolescent knowledge about covid-19 and compliance in implementing 5M.Objective: This study used a cross sectional method, the sampling method in this study was a total sampling of 35 respondents.
Method: This study used a cross sectional method, the sampling method in this study was a total sampling of 35 respondents.The analysis used is univariate and bivariate using Chi Square.
Results: The results of the research that have been carried out have found that most teenagers know about covid-19, which is 51.3%, adolescents' adherence to 5M is 52.8%. about covid-19 with compliance in implementing 5M at Mts Negeri 1 Kotamobagu).
Conclusion: Most teenagers know about covid-19, which is 51.3% and most of them obey the 5M, which is 52.8%. and there is a relationship between adolescent knowledge about covid-19 and compliance in implementing 5M at MTS Negeri 1 Kotamobagu.
