Abstract
Background Hospitals play a very important role in the quality of health services that impact the community and play a strategic role in improving the health status of the Indonesian people. Hospitals in this effort have unique and complex characteristics, are capital-intensive, technology-intensive, and labor-intensive, faced with challenges to improve the quality of services that are multi-dimensional with various accompanying complexities of problems, including patient safety issues. Objective research To find out the description of service quality on BPJS patient satisfaction at the inpatient installation of Syekh Yusuf Hospital, Gowa Regency.
Method: Type of research This type of research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted to get an overview of service quality on BPJS patient satisfaction at the Inpatient Installation of Syekh Yusuf Hospital, Kab. Gowa While the population in this study were all BPJS patients in the inpatient room of Syekh Yusuf Gowa Hospital, totaling 970 BPJS patients. So the overall sample size was 138 people. The sampling technique is purposive proportional random sampling. Data analysis used one-way tabulation
Results: Research shows good communication with doctors (92.9%), good nurse communication (83.3%), good responsiveness of health workers (88.2%), good drug communication (100%), good hospital environment (84.3%) and good food service (83.3%).
