Abstract
Background : From the results Field observations found problems, namely the workloadthere is high because workers are required to make ceramics according to the target, work productivity can be influenced by many factors, one of which is excessive food intake and the high workload they produce.
Purpose :This study aims to determine the relationship between food intake and workload with work productivity of workers in the production division of PT. X in 2022.
Research Methods: This type of research used a cross sectional. The population of this study were 300 respondents. Samples were taken using the Slovin formula as many as 75 respondents. Measurement of this study using a questionnaire to determine food consumption, workload and work productivity. Data analysis was carried out by univariate, bivariate with Che square test.
Research Results: the results used are chi square test. The results of this study indicate that: 14 respondents (18,7%) with low work productivity and 61 respondents (81.3%). Respondents who had adequate food intake were 54 respondents (72.0%) and those who experienced inadequate food intake were 21 respondents (28.0%). Respondents who have a high workload are 55 respondents (73.3%) and those who experience a low workload are 20 respondents (26.7%). There is a relationship between food intake and work productivity of workers in the production division of PT. X in 2022 with a Pof 0.000. There is a relationship between workload and work productivity of workers in the production division of PT. X in 2022 with a Pof 0.000.
Conclusions and Suggestions: Companies are expected to pay more attention to working hours for workers, especially the production department so that no workers do work outside of operating hours.
